19/12/2021
We’d like to apologise for the video cut out early on during the live stream on Sunday 19th December. This was caused by a request from one of the remote participants to make a live transcript of the audio available which caused the meeting video to be placed on pause until the request was handled.
Unfortunately, the Zoom platform that we are using has not been tested for text-to-speech capabilities, neither are we in a position where we can manually type a live transcript as the service occurs nor can we constantly monitor requests from participants during the service. There are several manual things that need to be disabled at the start of every Zoom meeting and the ability for participants to request audio transcription has been added to the list to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.
To help us provide the best possible experience for all remote participants, we’d like to ask those that join us online to refrain from making any requests from their devices during the meeting. Sadly, we are unable to provide technical support to remote participants at this time.

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

Adam here, I hope that you all had as nice Christmas and New Year celebrations as possible.
You are lucky to have snow where you all are. I didn't have a thing apart from the cold.
Firstly, the website is updated with the weekly newsletter and Fr. Anton's weekly column. The parish blog has a new look following inspiration over the holiday. The Christmas Carol-A-Day continues until January 5th. I hope you have enjoyed the contribution from one of the parishioners.
Secondly, the Live Streaming has been well recieved. The three Christmas Masses will remain on the website until the end of the Christmas period.
Thirdly, there was a generous response to the Foodbank appeal with almost 200 kilograms of food and essentials gathered. Golly! I am told there were a group of carol singers present add to cheer the atmosphere around the collection.
And finally, Wednesday January 6th, is the Feast of the Epiphany when the Three Wise Men come to visit Jesus with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
The Masses for the Epiphany are 10:00am and 7:00pm
Booking your place for by telephone to give everyone a reasonable chance of attending. Leave a message. Pease note until you receive a reply, we cannot guarantee a place.
