Saints Peter and Paul

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This weekend we celebrate two great leaders of the early church, indeed the beginning of the life of the Church here on earth. Peter and Paul are great names, one a fisherman, the other a Rabbi. In many ways they are very different but God chooses and brings together those who can serve his purpose that is to bring the message of his heavenly Father to us all. Let us rejoice at such leaders in the life of early Christianity.
